1. Check you extruder’s backlash. Remove the filament and make sure there is no “dead zone” when reversing extruder gear directions by hand. Re-adjust your material’s shrinkage settings and reprint the gear. Consider a nylon gear.
  2. Ensure that the tube from the extruder to the tool end is secure.
